Our Services

(Some agencies might not offer all services)

  • Orientation meeting for people interested in adoption. At the meeting staff answer questions and talk about real-life experiences of parents who have already adopted.

  • Home study is done if a person(s) wants to proceed with the adoption process.

The home study combines both professional assessment and self-evaluation approaches. It involves the discussion of parenting and it invites applicants to examine their own values, expectations and feelings. From this mutual process, a decision can be made about the adoption process.

  • Planning and support is available to both the child and the family.

  • Information about the child is shared when a child is matched with a family.
The agency shares social and medical history of the child along with information about the child's behavioral, intellectual and emotional development.
